In this newly created role, Lind will be responsible for utilizing GTS’ current technologies and products to address immediate energy storage problems facing firms today. He will also oversee the integration of new technologies, such as NEOCELL^® and the energy management system for enterprise mobility, EM². Additionally, with his experience in the United States Army, he will help develop government and military markets for GTS.

Lind has held key management roles at energy technology-focused firms, including Duracell, ConocoPhillips, and Ultralife. Immediately prior to his new position, he held a senior-level management position at early-stage battery company, Contour Energy Systems. Contour Energy Systems was co-founded by Dr. Robert Grubbs, a Nobel Prize winner in chemistry.

Lind holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Duke University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Connecticut.
