Company Doubles Space for Security Restricted U.S. Government Projects and O.E. M. Products

“Our government and OEM business has grown dramatically in 2008, and we reached the point where we needed more space” stated Danny Rockett, Vice President of Manufacturing for GTS. “The growth of our U.S. Government business also requires us to have additional space for I.T.A.R. controlled manufacturing” said Rockett.

Companies receiving I.T.A.R. certification demonstrate that they have knowledge and understanding to fully comply with the Arms Export Control Act (AECE) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations as well as having corporate procedures and controls in place to ensure compliance. Meeting I.T.A.R. Certification implies that GTS has met requirements pertaining to organization structure, documentation, corporate policy, training and procedures. GTS now has the right to manufacture and ship military products.

In addition to I.T.A.R. Registration, GTS's West Palm Beach facility is Factory Mutual Approved for the production of Intrinsically Safe products, as well as Intertek approved for use of the ETL Listed Mark for product certification.
